FitzdogRadio presents a TWO INTERVIEW podcast. First Comedy Savant Ross Brockley describes his sometimes homeless and hard-living days in the NY comedy scene. He closes out the interview by accusing Greg of sleeping with his girlfriend. Next, Greg travels to the Hollywood Improv to interrogate “Sarah Silverman Show” star Tig Notaro about having compassion for hecklers.

Greg-love the show. Hate the Silversun Pickups song as the intro. Not a bad song, just sounds weird to intro a comedy podcast.
I enjoyed this episode-the two guests had a lot of interesting stuff to talk about. You and Maron with WTF do a great job of making a pretty small-scale culture (there aren’t THAT many comics out there) interesting to a wide variety of people. Keep up the great work.
But get rid of that damn Silversun Pickups song.

I enjoyed this episode-the two guests had a lot of interesting stuff to talk about. You and Maron with WTF do a great job of making a pretty small-scale culture (there aren’t THAT many comics out there) interesting to a wide variety of people. Keep up the great work.

Are you aware what Tig Notaro did? Are you aware that she is a psychopath who will be disgraced? She will heckled constantly when the truth gets out . Tig Notaro is a very sick and twisted freak. What a smutty face it has.

OK MR Fitzsimmons–I am a fairly new listener–went back and caught up on your podcasts–got to know you through Adam Carolla. I wanted to throw a couple of comments out there about you and your show.
Specifically, in regards to this podcast, you DID tell that “the poor bastard” story before–just want to let you know that we are paying attention. (I love the Overheards by the way)
As far as that new game you mentioned about interchangable celebrities, I have a few….Katie Holmes and Carrie Mulligan; Jason Sudeikis and Ed Helms (admittedly too obvious) and you could even throw Chris Parnell into that mix; and before I started really listenening to you, I constantly mixed you up with Dave Dameshek (I know, insulting–it must be the nasal whiny voice) But I can’t stand that a-hole, and I love you now.
Generally speaking, the reasons I have come to love your podcast, and really prefer it over Adam’s these days, is that you are sharp and don’t rehash the same shit over and over. (Adam is obviously brilliant when he has new shit to talk about, but man I have heard the same stories for 15 years now! )
I love your self-deprecation and I have yet to hear you get defensive, despite your low self-esteem. It’s great that you can truly laugh at yourself, unlike a lot of those whiny comic bastards.
I like how you treat your fans–you actually seem interested in what they have to say and have a nice level of interaction.
And the last thing I will mention is that I REALLY love that you LAUGH at other comedians when they come on your podcast. It drives me nuts to listen to the back and forth, and they are too damned jaded to laugh at your jokes, even when you manage to say something that is actually funny. Is it some comedian bullshit to not find anything funny anymore?

I did’nt think Tig would be a good guest but Greg made her good with his unique stile.
I don’t think he ever mentioned her sexuality, and i thought that was cool not going that way with it.
